ABOUT NK HANDMADE DESIGNS

NK Handmade Designs grew out of a love of textiles and the marriage of traditional craft and modern design. We combine large-scale piecing, modern minimalism and impactful geometry with our core belief that beautiful, functional design should be approachable and accessible to everyone.

Our patterns are written to impart maximum visual impact with simple, timeless shapes that are customizable and attainable for every sewist. They are a guide for each individual to create something that they love and that is a unique expression of their own creativity!

Our handmade items offer the same functional, enduring beauty and are created with thoughtful intention and the utmost care. ABOUT NICOLE

Modern quilting is a powerful creative outlet for so many people. For me, the world of modern quilting has opened my eyes to a rich community of creative people and an incredibly liberating means of artistic expression. Though I learned to sew as a child, I began quilting shortly after the birth of my first son, and I quickly fell in love with the process of creating beautiful and useful handmade items for my home. My deep love of simple, modern design and quality items that withstand the test of time inspires me to keep creating every day.
